Dedicated researchers advancing biomedical science through innovative ECM monitoring technologies

Developing novel biologics for advancing matrix biology research

You need reliable molecular tools to advance fibrosis research and understand ECM dynamics in disease models. We design and develop novel molecular indicators that allow the monitoring of extracellular matrix fibril assembly and organization processes.

We develop and provide the community with novel biologics to tackle the challenge of defining the spatial arrangement and physical properties of the extracellular matrix proteins synthesized under various experimental conditions. Our quantitative probes specifically detect fibronectin fibers with superior precision compared to commonly used tools such as nanoparticles and antibodies that are larger in size with less penetration in dense stromal tissue structures. Although antibodies recognize exposed sequences and conformations allowing quantification of extracellular matrix proteins, they present limited capacity in identifying the particular arrangement of early fibrotic fibrils.

By assembling our expertise in protein engineering, extracellular matrix biology, and fibrosis research, we commit to developing the tools needed to make preclinical studies more efficient, and proposing novel approaches for understanding ECM remodeling in therapeutic research.
